Workshop Description

For the first time Paul Born and Frances Westley have teamed up to offer you this workshop that combines the latest ideas and techniques about social innovation and community change by two of Canada’s leading authorities on these topics.

Join us for this provocative, highly interactive, and fun workshop based upon many of the principles and cases described in the best-selling book, Getting to Maybe-How the World is Changed, and the new highly acclaimed book Community Conversations-Mobilizing the Ideas, Skills and Passion of Community Organizations, Governments, Business, and People.

This workshop will enhance your understanding of social innovation, community systems change, engagement, collaboration and movement thinking, and is designed to inspire and provide you with new ideas and tools to address the complexities of community change and what this means for your respective organization’s mission and goals.

In addition to the workshop, you will receive the two books as well as a special invitation to Tamarack’s reception for the book launch of Community Conversations and Creating Vibrant Communities-How Individuals and Organizations from Diverse Sectors of Society are Coming Together to Reduce Poverty in Canada.
